What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The parties reached a consent to resolve the issue of the late payment by requesting that the Board issue a conditional order requiring the Tenant to pay the rent in guaranteed funds, on or before the fifth day of each month.

The ruling

The Landlord's application filing fee of $190 is waived due to the Tenant's extenuating personal and financial difficulties. The Tenant shall pay the new rent in guaranteed funds, in full and no later than the fifth day of each month from April 2021 through March 2022. If the Tenant fails to make any one of the payments, the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
