What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (TNL-33705-21) issued on November 8, 2021. The Tenant failed to pay November's lawful monthly rent in full by the specified date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 15, 2022. The Tenant must pay $3,878.04 to the Landlords, representing rent arrears, application fees, and compensation, less the rent deposit. Additionally, the Tenant must pay $23.01 per day from January 5, 2022, until vacating the unit. If not paid by January 15, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually. The Landlords may file for eviction enforcement starting January 16, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
