What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlords and Tenant entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy as of August 31, 2023, but the Tenant did not move out by the termination date.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 29, 2023. The Tenant must move out by this date. If the unit is not vacated by September 29, 2023, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 29, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance starting September 30, 2023.
