What happened
Landlord applied for an order to require Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants had vacated the rental unit on April 30, 2022 without giving proper notice.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,433.07, which includes rent arrears up to May 30, 2022, the cost of the application, less the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenant does not pay by November 20, 2022, they will owe interest at 4% annually on the outstanding balance.
