What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous consent order. The Tenant failed to pay $800 towards arrears and the lawful monthly rent by November 1, 2021, breaching paragraphs 2(a) and 2(b) of the consent order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate by January 15, 2022. The Tenant is ordered to pay $4,997.92 to the Landlord, representing rent owing up to January 4, 2022, plus $38.04 per day from January 5, 2022, until the Tenant moves out. If the unit is not vacated by January 15, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
