What happened

The Tenants requested a review of order CEL-98984-21-SA issued on May 10, 2021, and that enforcement be stayed until their request to review the order is resolved. The Tenants argued that the Board erred in giving weight to their failure to pay the water bill without making a finding that they were responsible for paying it, and in relying on hearsay evidence contradicting the Tenant's testimony that she had been offered a new job.

The ruling

The underlying eviction order is stayed to preserve the Tenants' rights until the review is resolved. A hearing will be scheduled to determine if the Board erred in its previous rulings.
