What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant admitted that she did not pay one month of rent that was still owing to the Landlord.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord $700.00, which represents the amount of rent owing up to July 31, 2021, and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before December 15, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at a rate of 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
