What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay January 2023 rent and arrears as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the unit by April 7, 2023. The Tenant is ordered to pay $8,810.74 plus $49.91 per day from March 28, 2023, until they move out. If the Tenant doesn't pay by April 7, 2023, interest will be charged at 5% annually from April 8, 2023.
