What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants and for an order to have the Tenants pay compensation for damage they owe because the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in the mediated settlement issued by the Board on December 19, 2019 with respect to application TEL-05902-19.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenants is terminated. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before August 15, 2020. The Tenants shall pay to the Landlords $347.31 (less any amount paid by the Tenants to the Landlord after the application was filed with the Board), which represents the unpaid compensation for damage. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing on or before August 15, 2020, they will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding. If the unit is not vacated on or before August 15, 2020, the Landlords may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced.
