What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay for damages to the rental unit caused wilfully or negligently by the Tenant, another occupant, or someone the Tenant permitted in the residential complex. The parties mutually agreed to resolve all matters at issue in the application.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 30, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement starting October 1, 2022. The last month rent deposit of $880 shall be applied to the September 2022 rent. The Tenant must pay the remaining amounts owed to the Landlord by the specified due dates.
