What happened
Landlord applied to re-open a previous application due to the Tenant's failure to comply with the terms of a mediated settlement. The Tenant had not paid the required amount by the agreed deadline, resulting in rent arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 25, 2020, unless the Tenant pays $1,245.00 to the Landlord or the Board in trust by that date to void the eviction order. The Tenant must also pay $695.41 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $12.53 per day in compensation starting October 15, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owed by October 25, 2020, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
