What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to the tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The tenant did not pay the required amounts on the specified dates.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the tenant must move out by February 15, 2021. The tenant must pay the landlord $3,218.11 in rent arrears, plus $20.78 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting February 5, 2021 until the tenant moves out. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by February 15, 2021, the tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
