What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to undue damage to the rental unit and substantial interference with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated as of November 30, 2020. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $22,429.90 for the reasonable costs of repairing the damage, and $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by March 15, 2021, they will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
