What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 12, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $9,483.83, which includes rent arrears and compensation up to March 1, 2021, less the rent deposit. The Tenant must also pay $43.82 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting March 2, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant pays $12,346.16 on or before March 12, 2021, the eviction order will be void and the Tenant can remain in the unit.
