What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as specified in a previous order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions of the previous order to pay $600 by May 20, 2021 and the monthly rent by June 1, 2021.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective July 2, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,967.29, plus $35.28 per day starting June 22, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 2, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
