What happened

Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlord failed to meet the Landlord's maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 or failed to comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards due to a leaking roof from February 2016 to October 2016.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 2, 2017. The Landlord is ordered to pay the Tenants $1,071 for the period they vacated the unit, and $45 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $1,116.
