What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant, and because the Tenant or another occupant of the rental unit has committed an illegal act or has carried out, or permitted someone to carry out an illegal trade, business or occupation in the rental unit or the residential complex. Tenant applied for orders determining that the Landlord's superintendent or agent harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with him and substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex.
The ruling
The hearing was adjourned, peremptory on the Tenant, to a time and place to be indicated in notices of hearing to be issued. Conditions were imposed to help alleviate prejudice to the Landlord.
