What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing but did not attend.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying $13,980.00 by December 17, 2022. If the Tenants do not void the order, they must move out by December 17, 2022, and pay the Landlord $8,851.74 plus $62.81 per day from November 10, 2022, until they move out. The Landlord may file for eviction with the Sheriff starting December 18, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
