What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants were not present at the hearing.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay their lawful monthly rent to the Landlord in full and on time on or before the 1st business day each and every month for the next twelve (12) months commencing May 1, 2021 through to and including April 1, 2022. If the Tenants fail to make any one of the payments, the Landlord may apply under section 78 of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants.
