What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 31, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $1,319.40, which includes rent arrears up to August 20, 2021 and costs from the previous application, less the rent deposit. The Tenants must also pay $7.17 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting August 21, 2021 until they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by August 31, 2021, they will owe interest starting September 1, 2021.
