What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants had been paying rent late every month from April 2020 to June 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 31, 2021. The Tenants must move out by this date. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $186 for the application fee, and interest at 2% annually on any outstanding balance after December 31, 2021. The Tenants must also pay $60.48 per day for use of the unit after January 1, 2022 if they do not vacate by the termination date.
