What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlord harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant, entered the rental unit illegally and substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenant or by a member of the Tenant's household.

The ruling

The Tenant's application is dismissed as the Landlord's unit is exempt from the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 under subsection 5(i) as the Tenant was required to share the kitchen with the Landlord, who is the owner of the accommodation and lived in the house.
