What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board on April 27, 2022.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 1, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,546.69 (less any amounts paid after the application was filed) and $44.18 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting October 22, 2022 until the Tenant moves out. If the full amount is not paid by November 1, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest at 4% annually on the outstanding balance.
