What happened

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,123, which includes the rent arrears up to the move-out date and the cost of filing the application, less the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 18, 2022, they will start to owe simple interest at 3% annually on the outstanding balance.
