What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective September 22, 2021. Tenants did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 25, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $9,221.81 by that date. Tenants must pay $6,402.74 for rent arrears and compensation, plus $56.06 per day from February 15, 2022, until they move out. Tenants also owe $201.00 for application filing costs. If full payment is not made by February 25, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
