What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owe. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay to the Landlord $1,347.34, which represents the amount of rent owing up to January 31, 2019 less the rent deposit that is being held by the Landlord. The Tenants shall also pay to the Landlord $20.00, which represents the total charges related to NSF cheques tendered to the Landlord by or on behalf of the Tenants. The Tenants shall also pay to the Landlord $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before November 10, 2020, the Tenants will start to owe interest.
