What happened
The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants due to persistent late payment of rent and substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the landlord or another tenant.
The ruling
The Tenants shall pay the monthly rent on or before the first day of each month from November 1, 2021 to October 31, 2022. If the Tenants fail to make any one of the payments, the Landlords may, within 30 days of the breach and without notice to the Tenants, apply to the Board under section 78 of the Act for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants. The Tenants shall pay to the Landlords $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the Landlords the full amount owing on or before November 8, 2021, they will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
