What happened

The deceased tenant's daughters applied for an order determining that the landlord harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the tenant, entered the rental unit illegally and substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the tenant or by a member of the tenant's household.

The ruling

The tenant's application is dismissed. The landlord acted reasonably in handling the biohazardous situation in the rental unit after the tenant's death, and followed the appropriate protocols to dispose of the unsafe and unhygienic materials.
