What happened

The ruling

The tenancy was terminated effective July 31, 2020, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay $16,729.73 to the Landlord, which includes rent arrears and compensation up to the move-out date, less the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $190 for the cost of filing the application.
