What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord's N4 Notice was found to be defective, but the Tenants were still ordered to pay the outstanding rent.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $26,569.80 in rent arrears and $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by February 14, 2021, they will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
