What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous consent order. The Tenant failed to pay the lawful monthly rent in full on or before November 5, 2021, which was a breach of the previous consent order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out by January 15, 2022. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $12,747.64, which represents the rent owing up to January 4, 2022 and the costs related to the previous application fee, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant shall also pay $78.90 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting January 5, 2022 until the Tenant actually moves out or gets evicted. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by January 15, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe interest.
