What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay compensation for damages caused by them or a person they permitted in the residential complex.

The ruling

The Landlord's application is dismissed. The Landlord's evidence that the alleged damage did not exist prior to the Tenant moving in is too weak to outweigh the Tenant's evidence that much of the alleged damage existed prior to her moving in and any damage caused by her was due to regular wear and tear.
