What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant causing undue damage to the rental unit and substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlords or another tenant.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 3, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before October 3, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $7,000.00 for the damage, $22.85 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from October 4, 2021 to the date the Tenant moves out, and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by October 3, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
