What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The Tenants requested a review of the order.
The ruling
The previous order CEL-97058-20 was cancelled and replaced. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $528.00, representing 12 months of the rent increase for the period May 2020 through April 2021, on or before April 6, 2021. If the Tenant fails to make the payment, the tenancy is terminated on April 7, 2021, and the Tenant must vacate the rental unit. If the Tenant pays the $528.00 on or before April 6, 2021, the eviction order is void.
