What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent and substantial interference with the Landlords' lawful rights and privileges. The Tenant has not paid rent since November 1, 2019 and has been verbally abusive, threatening, and refusing to allow maintenance workers and the Landlords' real estate agent access to the property.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 18, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $8,340.99, plus $16.44 per day starting September 8, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 18, 2021, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement of the eviction.
