What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Tenant gave notice to terminate the tenancy.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before January 28, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $201 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by January 28, 2023, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 5% annually starting January 29, 2023.
