What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their causing undue damage to the premises and substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2020. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $1,076.61 for cleanup costs, $10,562.44 for compensation for use of the unit from December 11, 2019 to August 4, 2020, and $44.38 per day for compensation for use of the unit from August 5, 2020 until they vacate. The Tenants are also ordered to pay the $190 application fee.
