What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective August 24, 2021. Tenants failed to pay rent for the period from April 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 16, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $5,305.17 on or before that date. Tenants must pay $3,323.99 plus $32.44 per day starting January 6, 2022, for rent arrears and compensation. If payment is not made, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 17, 2022.
