What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlords have entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of the rental unit and the purchaser requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 30, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before December 5, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $5,153.50 for compensation for the use of the unit from October 1, 2021 to November 24, 2021, and an additional $93.70 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from November 25, 2021 to the date the Tenant moves out.
