What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to pay rent as per a previous mediated settlement. The Tenant failed to pay $1,290 in rent arrears by the agreed upon date.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must vacate the rental unit by August 16, 2020. As of the date of the order, the Tenant owes no money to the Landlord because the amount of the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenant exceeds the rent arrears and application fee owed to the Landlord.
