What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by the Landlords' children.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 30, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $2,547.57, which includes compensation for use of the unit and interest on the rent deposit. If the unit is not vacated by September 30, 2021, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
