What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlords failed to meet their maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006. The Tenant complained about water stains on the ceiling in the front entrance and a crack in the living room ceiling.

The Tenant is awarded a rent abatement of $1,585.89 for the period from January 12, 2020 to July 31, 2020, and the Landlord is ordered to pay the Tenant $50 for the cost of filing the application.
