What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant wilfully causing undue damage to the rental unit and residential complex, substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant, committing an illegal act, and seriously impairing the safety of any person.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 18, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee and $26.30 per day in compensation for the use of the unit from October 19, 2021 until the Tenant moves out.
