What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to an alleged assault by the Tenant's partner on the Landlord's agent, which the Landlord claimed seriously impaired the agent's safety.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 31, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated by January 31, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction starting February 1, 2022.
