What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's smoking that substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex by another tenant.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 31, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $237.10, which includes the application fee and compensation for use of the unit after the termination date. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 31, 2021, they will owe interest starting November 1, 2021.
