What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The parties agreed to a payment plan before the hearing, but there was a procedural error regarding the type of order to be issued.
The ruling
The Board ordered a payment plan under section 206 of the RTA. Tenant must pay $3,036.92 in three installments: $1,000 on June 22, 2017, $1,000 on July 6, 2017, and $1,036.92 on July 20, 2017. If Tenant misses a payment, Landlord may re-open the application.
