What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to maintain the rental unit in a state of ordinary cleanliness, causing damage, and seriously impairing the safety of the unit.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 4, 2018. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,158.50 for the cost of repairs, $37.81 per day for compensation for use of the unit after the termination date, and $175 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 4, 2018, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
