What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's conduct of stabbing another person in the residential complex, which amounted to an illegal act, seriously impaired the safety of another person, and substantially interfered with the Landlord's or another tenant's lawful right, privilege or interest.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 27, 2017. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,006.83 for the cost of repairing the damage to the unit and $190 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 27, 2017, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by November 27, 2017, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement.
