What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenant did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective March 2, 2022, unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. The Tenant must pay $397.54 for rent arrears and NSF charges, plus $35.91 per day from February 11, 2022, until move-out. The Tenant must also pay $186.00 for application filing costs. If full payment is not made by March 2, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting March 3, 2022.
