What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and not meeting conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay lawful monthly rent for November 2022 on or before November 1, 2022, breaching the conditions of the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 21, 2023. The Tenant must pay $10,802.62 to the Landlord, representing rent arrears up to February 10, 2023, less the rent deposit and interest. Additionally, the Tenant must pay $41.92 per day from February 11, 2023, until vacating the unit. If the Tenant does not vacate by February 21, 2023, the Landlord may enforce the eviction through the Court Enforcement Office.
